You're paying €29.95 for something that's FREE for you?

I paid €4.95/month to SCHUFA for 3 years - without realizing it. Then I discovered the truth.

📥 Show me how!

My Story

Like many of you, I needed a SCHUFA report for my apartment application.

The SCHUFA website was confusing. Ads everywhere for "meineSCHUFA kompakt" (€4.95/month) and "BonitätsAuskunft" (€29.95). I thought: "Ok, I'll just order the cheap subscription..."

💸 ~€60 per year

For 3 years = €180 wasted!

Until I accidentally found an article from Verbraucherzentrale:

"SCHUFA MUST give you your data once a year for FREE - under Art. 15 GDPR!"

I was shocked. All along I had a legal right to a free report - but SCHUFA deliberately hid it.

Now I'm helping others avoid the same mistake.

😱💰

❌ What SCHUFA does

🙈

Hides the FREE option

The "data copy under Art. 15 GDPR" is hidden so you can barely find it. Instead, the paid credit report is prominently advertised.

💸

Sells expensive products

Credit report: €29.95. meineSCHUFA kompakt: €4.95/month. Yet you have a legal right to the same information - for free!

🪤

Lures into subscription traps

Many users unknowingly click on subscription offers and pay for months without realizing it. Cancellations are complicated.

🎯

Uses "Dark Patterns"

Confusing forms, hidden checkboxes, manipulative design - all designed to make you buy.

⚖️

SCHUFA was sued!

The NGO "noyb" (None of Your Business) officially filed a complaint in 2024 because SCHUFA deliberately hides the free option.
